Series Overview
The Greater Bentonville Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with Insight Leadership Group to execute programming around taking leaders deeper to make organizations healthier. This will be a 3-part learning series on Tuesdays from June 18th through July 2nd, as a part CRAFT (Community Retention and Attraction of Future Talent) Bentonville.
The Chamber's Director of Talent Initiatives & Innovative Inclusion, Sierra Polk and the Founder of Leadership Insight Leadership Group, Michael Brown will facilitate the programs. Learn more about Leadership Insight Leadership Group at www.insightlg.com
Part 2: The Hustle | Build Relationships in the Rush
Momentum can be your friend. To perform at high speed however, you need to set a pace to ensure the speed doesn't control you. The best kayakers learn to navigate the rapids and build positive momentum. They don't let boulders get in the way and they don't allow the current to sweep them in directions they don't want to go. Great leaders lead with a selfless ambition that allows them to hustle and still value people in the rush. This session will give you key insights on how to build relationships and influence during the journey. You will learn how to navigate challenges successfully, instead of letting conflict destroy momentum.
Outcomes
1) Create a new way of communicating effectively
2) Explore how to show value to different personality types
3) Learn key tactics for building collaborative relationships in challenging conversations
Please note: attendees are not required to attend all 3 series to leverage the strategies covered, but it is encouraged.
