The Museum of Native American History (MONAH) is excited to have Park Ranger Kerry Jones from Pea Ridge National Military Park to host the next installment of Native Conversations: “On Bended Knee: The Story of Native Americans in the Civil War”. The discussion will be held on December 14, 2019 at 5:30 PM. Ranger Jones will discuss the significant contributions Native Americans made to the war effort during America’s Civil War. A special emphasis will be placed on Indigenous People who fought at the Battle of Pea Ridge, March 7 and 8, 1862. This monthly installment of Native Conversations, generously funded by a grant from the Walton Family Foundation, features Park Ranger Kerry Jones discussing Indigenous Peoples of the Civil War on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 5:30 PM inside the Great Room.
