About Us

The Peel Compton Foundation
The Peel Mansion serves as a living display of the Victorian period and tells the story of a prominent early Bentonville family. While touring the Mansion, shopping at the museum’s cabin store or, renting the venue for your dream wedding or lifetime event you will be inspired and educated during your visit.
Compton Gardens
A green oasis that serves as a public park for the residents of Bentonville and beyond. This 6.5 acre garden is a native woodland garden and a regional destination garden and special events venue. Residents and visitors are able to take advantage of this beautiful and peaceful green space environment with an abundant native plant collection.
Compton Gardens named after Dr. Neil Compton, a noted Bentonville physician, writer, photographer, founder of the Ozark Society, and hero of the Buffalo River.
The Conference Center is the re-modeled home of Dr. Compton and now serves as a rental facility for private events, conferences, workshops, retreats, seminars and intimate weddings . The Garden is available for film and commercial photo shoots as well.
