The sheer number of Walmart locations nationwide - combined with unprecedented buying power and customer loyalty - have the retailer poised to remain a powerful contender as it strives to provide increased access\, quality and affordability in the healthcare arena.  We will be discussing Walmart's focus on fresh to increase consumer focus on nutrition\, reading labels\, healthy choices\, vitamins\, supplements and organic/natural options. Suppliers need to be forward-thinking related to both traditional "healthy" items and evolving demands. Karim has received a masters Degree in Applied Finance from Pepperdine University\, an MPA for Harvard University and an MBA from UCLA\, Anderson School of Management.\n\n\n\nJames McGinnis - Sr. Director of Sales - Walmart/Sam's Club\, Clif Bar & Company\n\nJames joined Clif Bar & Co. in 2013 and has over 17 years experience in the supplier community.  His experience ranges from analytics and category management to customer marketing to sales and team leadership across a range of small\, independent manufactures and large fortune 100 suppliers.
