DESCRIPTION:We are inviting members of the Northwest Arkansas community to learn about the Botanical Garden of the Ozarks and our different volunteer opportunities\, including education\, admissions\, gardening\, hospitality\, Butterfly House\, community outreach\, and more! Would you like to inspire the next generation to help heal the planet? Get involved in our kids programs\, field trips\, and tours! Do you want to learn how to grow your own food and have enough to share with your neighbors in need? Come help out in the Vegetable & Herb Garden! Do you have a specialized skill or deep knowledge of a subject? Learn how to become a class teacher! Or do you just need an opportunity to get away from the hustle and bustle into the great outdoors? Get to know our beautiful garden and how you can help make this an oasis for the community! Each of our department heads will share how to get involved in each department and we will conclude with an optional garden tour. Can't make the orientation?
