Description
Hello All! Join us at The Rail-A Pizza Company, for some friendly competition with a cause! We will be cooking to raise money for Healing Gardens of NWA. The Experiment is a cutthroat competitive culinary extravaganza that is not for the faint of heart. It has been rumored that Masaharu Morimoto (of Iron Chef Fame), upon learning of The Experiment, trembled like a small infant before soiling himself in fright. YOUR JOB: Show up ready to either eat, or create pizza. Participants MUST sign up ahead of time as slots are limited. Making a pizza: Crusts will be provided, one small for the judges, and one large for spectators. You provide the toppings and sauce, make sure to have enough for both doughs. There will be no access to the stovetop or knives so you must bring the ingredients prepared to go on the pizza. RSVP required by 1/26/18 so we know how many crusts are needed! You must come up with an original name for your pizza. You will get to taste each participants pizza. No donation is required. Eating pizza: For a donation, minimum of $10, you can taste pizzas, and vote on people’s choice winner. Slots are also limited and will be on a first come first serve basis. JUDGES JOB: There will be a panel of local judges who will give each pizza a score out of 30. The breakdown is as follows: ten points possible for CREATIVITY, ten points possible for TASTE, and ten points possible for PRESENTATION. The winners will receive the coveted "Pizza Experiment Trophies" along with eternal fame and glory. ABOUT THE CHARITY: Healing Gardens of Northwest Arkansas is a 501c3 charity and will be built over a multi-acre green space behind Highlands Oncology Group in Rogers on the Razorback Greenway Trail. Promoting health/wellness, education, arts integration, and community building for all of NWA and beyond. A place where we can reconnect to nature, to ourselves, and enjoy the beauty in our community. For more information on their important work go to www.healinggardensofnwa.org.
