Position Summary:

The Cloud Solutions Specialist L1 is the initial entry point to Professional Services with our Partners.  They interact with Partners regularly and are scheduled for phone calls multiple hours a day to intake new project engagements. The Specialist works closely with the Cloud Services Engineering and Service Operations teams to ensure our Partners experience successful outcomes.

Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):

  • Conduct Discovery Calls to determine project specifications submitted by the Partner
  • Compile customized project Proposals and Scopes of work to spec as dictated by partner needs and follow opportunity to closure
  • Manage a diverse project workload simultaneously, from Discovery to Implementation hand off. Assist partners with general questions about migration and project processes
  • Collaborate with the Pax8 sales organizations to aid in following up on opportunities to closure
  • Work closely with our Cloud Solutions Engineers and Service Operations teams to ensure efficient and smooth project process
  • Participate in internal meetings and collaborate with the Professional Services Team

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least one (1) to three (3) years of experience in IT management/Administration with a focus on cloud technologies
  • Prior work experience in the managed services channel
  • Experience with migration platforms such as SkyKick or BitTitan
  • Understanding of technology principles and services including infrastructure, business applications, data
  • General understanding of Microsoft 365 solutions (ex. Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Skype for Business, Azure Active Directory, Word, Excel, etc.)
  • General understanding of Microsoft Azure offerings
  • General understanding of both on-premises and cloud collaboration environments (such as Exchange Server, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Hosted Exchange providers, etc.)
  • Understanding of Hybrid Exchange, and one or more email environments (i.e, hosted exchange, Google workspace)
  • Genuine passion for customer service and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to clearly communicate technical information and concepts in layman’s terms
  • Ability to multi-task and efficiently handle multiple workloads
  • Strong interest and ability to independently take initiative to identify and learn new technology and skills without explicit guidance
  • Ability to manage difficult or ambiguous situations and follow through to completion
  • Ability to develop and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences
  • Ability to build strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions
  • Ability to create a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives
  • Ability to consistently achieve results, even under tough circumstances
  • Ability to make sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems

Required Education & Certifications:

  • BA./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Microsoft 365 Fundamentals, Azure Fundamentals certification(s) preferred

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $51,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
