Position Summary:

The Director of Field Marketing leads the marketing strategy and activates the go-to-market plans for all Pax8-hosted and industry events.  They act as a liaison between channel marketing and the regional sales teams to build alignment and achieve regional business goals and revenue targets through our field presence.  The Director creates and executes integrated event campaigns to support prospecting and up/cross-sell opportunities. They continually investigate new trends and disruptive approaches to go-to-market, test new things with the goal of improving Pax8’s acquisition, and nurture strategies through field activities. The Director creates, balances, and prioritizes multiple initiatives with ease, effectively communicates with a variety of stakeholders, and optimally develops collaborations at every turn.  They are responsible for strategy development, program execution, go-to-market plans and demand generation, team management, and process optimization.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Designs and leads the strategy and creation of all field marketing campaigns including Pax8 events and industry events by utilizing and maximizing all marketing mix elements directed towards meeting the goals/objectives and priorities for each market. This includes directing the development of go-to market and demand generation strategies to deliver on event objectives
  • Develops and leads the go-to-market strategy, including developing event-specific demand generation strategies for all global markets for the inaugural annual global partner event
  • Collaborates cross-functionally with the channel, brand, and marketing teams to execute and manage large-scale brand activations and experiences. Drives global brand awareness through events, partnerships, and experiential marketing initiatives
  • Creates a strategy and framework that will be handed off to the regions to execute events and field campaigns (events-in-a-box), so that Pax8’s tone of voice and how we appear in the field across the globe is consistent and to a high standard
  • Directs the development of a company-wide merchandising strategy and manage merchandising vendor relationships to ensure Pax8 receives maximum value for its annual merchandising investment
  • Utilizes data and analytics to draw insights and continually optimize field focused campaigns
    • Develop and implement scorecard reporting to inform internal stakeholders of performance

Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:

  • At least ten to twelve (10-12) years of experience in marketing in fast-paced technology companies with demonstrated authority in B2B Marketing
  • Possess a demand generation mindset with at least (7) years of leadership experience in a field, demand generation, digital, or campaign marketing role in a B2B organization
  • Experience using project management tools (e.g., Wrike, Asana, Trello, Accelo)
  • Expert in B2B marketing, field marketing events, lead conversion, nurturing programs, and marketing analytics
  • Strong ability and experience in leading the development and management of marketing plans
  • Proven track record of successfully launching and managing marketing campaigns with clear ROI focused metrics
  • Proven experience scaling demand generation programs globally through technology, data, and process
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Possess strategic vision and tactical mastery, combined with an entrepreneurial spirit to get things done
  • Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment with a laser-focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction
  • Ability to be flexible while having a “can-do” attitude, self-motivated, and results oriented
  • Ability to be highly organized and process driven with an eye for detail and able to creatively solve complex problems
  • Ability to influence others, implement change, and standardize processes in a complex business environment

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a salary beginning at $155,000 or more depending on experience

*Note: Compensation is benchmarked on local Denver Metro area market rates. Qualified candidates in other locations can expect a salary package that may be adjusted based off applicable cost of wages in their respective location.
