Elms is an expert in assessing violent behavior, business risks, and at keeping people safe. A founding member of Walmart’s Global Security Division and its Executive Protection Team, he has been personally responsible for the protection of a multitude of CEOs and influential household names of our community.
Combining that experience with his law enforcement knowledge as an officer in the Little Rock Police Department, Doug made the decision in 2016 to found SafeHaven Security Group, LLC where he partners with a select group of clients providing workplace violence prevention/threat assessment and management, uniformed security specialists, and executive and family protection. His clients include bank groups, philanthropic foundations, high wealth/high risk families, churches, manufacturing facilities, corporate headquarters, event venues, and medical professionals.
